Nelson Boatyard was founded by Jimmy Nelson in 1951 in the sleepy coastal town of Gulf Shores, Alabama. Our close proximity to famous Bon Secour, Alabama gave us a stronghold in the boat yard and boat repair business that has continued for over 70 years and is now in its fifth generation of Nelson's.
